The most common place to find BCC is the head and neck, followed by the trunk and limbs. Other unusual sites are the armpits, breasts, perianal area, genitalia, palms and soles. BCC may present as a pearly white papule/plaque; non-healing scab, crust, wound, plaque, nodule, tumour with rolled borders; and papules with visible telangiectasias, also known as spider veins (Schwartz, 2018).
